”PlanetSolar II, which left Neuchâtel in February and arrived in Peru via the Panama Canal in mid-April, will be launched at an official ceremony this Friday in the presence of the Swiss Ambassador to Peru, the Swiss Ambassador to Bolivia and the Peruvian and Bolivian authorities. The Swiss solar boat, which will operate a scientific and solidarity expedition to promote solar energy until 2026, will be launched this Friday in Puno (Peru)‘’.

Designed and developed in Switzerland, PlanetSolar II has been able to count on the support of the Y-PARC technology park in Yverdon-les-Bains, which has welcomed the PlanetSolar Foundation team and followed the development of the project from its early stages. A big well done to the PlanetSolar Foundation and Raphaël Domjan, who we have been supporting from the outset, and who are still based at Y-PARC today.
